Translation and proofreading prices
Translation prices
Translation pricing starts from EUR 0.16 per word in the source text and varies depending on a number of factors such as complexity of the subject, urgency of the job, target language, extra services required such as typesetting and formatting, availability of reference material and purpose of the translation.
For example, the per-word charge will be higher for a document of significant technical complexity, and lower for simple content. By contrast, translations of internal documentation for information purposes require less work and can therefore be offered at a lower price than translations intended for publication, which usually include proofreading by a second translator to assure the best quality. For highly repetitive texts such as technical manuals, I use translation memory software. This allows me to offer discounted per-word pricing for repetitions and fuzzy matches.
Whether you need a polished, ready-to-publish text or a speedy and less expensive version just for your information—my service will be tailored to your specific needs.
